Intro to weird banking terms

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

Just thought I’d post some links I came across today. While explaining how Moody seem to have pretty much discredited themselves in the eyes of any sane person, they also explain certain banking terms I’d never quite got my head around.

Read and enjoy :D

What’s it like?

Monday, May 12th, 2008

What’s it like to be important, to be someone that does stuff that matters? What’s it like to be someone that other people can look up to and care about?

What’s it like to have stuff to look forward to and not go to bed just dreading your 6 hours of fractured sleep before you have to zombie through another day full of the same shit as every other day?

What’s it like to have friends who make the effort to visit? What’s it like to matter enough for people to occasionally drop an e-mail and not just a one-word response to yours? What’s it like to be important enough to people that they try to do the things that they know make you happy?

What’s it like? Wish I knew…

QOTD – Life, na na na nana

Sunday, May 11th, 2008

Ok, so two Sarf Efricans came to the UK and engaged in some of SA’s national sporting activities. During the course of these a few people ended up dead. And worse still, they overstayed their visas!

So what’s quote worthy about the article then? Well, apparently they’ll be “deported after serving life sentences”

Life… It’s a complicated timespan I guess!
